Chater Infant School Covid-19 3 Tiered Model
This is enhanced on a day to day basis as we work relentessly to ensure that our school is as Covid-19 safe as possible.
Each day we strive to ensure that our children have the very best access to learning and their well being is also considered and supported.
Each day we aim to support the safety and well-being of our hard working, committed and enthusiastic Chater Staff Team.

Providing Remote Education Information to Parents
The Headteacher oversees the quality of remote learning and is supported by other senior leaders in this key work.
All schools have been allocated Catch Up Premium Funding. To date this has been used in the following way:
- To buy English and Maths resources to support all children from Nursery to Year 2
- To provide 2 weeks of holiday club during July/August to support those children who did not attend school during March and July 2020
To provide additional IT equipment to develop remote learning Future consideration for further expenditure
To respond to level of need through baseline assessment when the school reopens in 2021 and to ear mark funding to support targeted children in the Summer Term 2021.
The effect of this expenditure on the educational attainment all children (they have all been effected by Covid-19) will be assessed through school assessment procedures and also talking to the children.
